8.00am-4.00pm Mon-Thurs, 8.15am-3:45pm Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

About the Post

 

We are looking to appoint an Administrative Officer to join our highly motivated, friendly and professional team at Stourfield Infant School. Stourfield Infant School is a large three form entry infant school with children from Year R to Year 2. We want our pupils to feel safe, happy, motivated and confident in their learning and relationships. We believe that children thrive in a caring and intellectually stimulating environment and aim to ensure that they have every opportunity to achieve the best possible outcomes in all that they do at school.

We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:

  • ability to efficiently manage office tasks, prioritising as appropriate, including necessary skills to manage safely, office related activities, the physical space and the resources for which they are responsible
  • ability to support the processes and procedures for pupil’s learning
  • ability to work at own initiative and as part of a team
  • ability to work in a flexible and responsive way with tact, discretion and confidentiality
  • ability to use ICT effectively
  • knowledge and understanding of safeguarding pupils
  • ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
  • ability to take personal responsibility for their own professional development
  • excellent communication skills
  • commitment to providing equal opportunities and meeting individual needs
  • approachable manner as there will be daily contact by telephone/face to face with the Headteacher/senior leadership team/staff/pupils/parents and other visitors to the school
