About the Post

 

We are looking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational teacher of Art to join our highly successful cross-campus Art department. This is a very rare and exciting opportunity to join an already high-performing subject area and to support the vision for excellence being developed by our Head of Art.

 

This post would suit a colleague in the early stages of their career who is looking for a role that goes beyond the traditional teaching post. Who we are looking for

 

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have an honours degree (or equivalent) in Art or a related discipline.
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience of improving outcomes for students in Art as a classroom teacher.
  • Have successful experience of teaching Art across Key Stage 3-4 in a state 11-16 or 11-18 school.
  • Have an understanding of effective pedagogy.
  • Have excellent classroom management skills.
  • Have experience of delivering extra-curricular activities.
