About the Post

 

We are looking to appoint a Caretaker to join our Stourfield Infant and Junior Schools teams. 

 

We are looking for an outstanding individual to work across the two school sites, who will relish the opportunity to:

  • carry out a full range of duties to provide for general security and maintenance of the school premises, to include handyperson activities, please see job description.
  • inspire excellence throughout the schools, upholding the vision, values and ethos of the schools and to actively contribute to their development.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.

Who we are looking for

 

We would love to hear from you if you:

 

  • Have experience of general maintenance/plumbing or DIY
  • Are enthusiastic, efficient, flexible (particularly with regards working hours), friendly and reliable
  • Have the ability to work on your own and use initiative and also as part of a team
  • Willing to participate in training as appropriate
