About the Post

This is a rare opportunity to join our organisation working as a Caretaker.

We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:

  • Work within a highly regarding organisation shaping the future for young people across Christchurch
  • Play a key role in ensuring calm, organisational effectiveness in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment
  • Be responsible for the compliance, safety, cleanliness, maintenance and security of the school site, furnishings and grounds to the expected standards of the Twynham Learning Trust.
  • Plan, organise, execute and inspect all relevant works relating to the school site.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.

Who we are looking for

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Are energetic and highly motivated
  • Have basic DIY skills and in-depth understanding of maintenance procedures.
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills for giving instructions to contractors and support crews.
  • Have excellent organisation, multi-tasking and scheduling skills.
