Work Experience Placements Required

Our Year 10 Pupils at The Grange and Twynham Schools are looking forward to Work Experience Week on 22^nd – 26^th May. However, there are a few placements which students are seeking where we don't currently have sufficient placement opportunities. There is still time for potential employers to be involved as the cut off for new placements is the 30^th March.

Placements are needed in the following areas:

Interior Design
Carpentry
Law / Legal
Architecture / Surveying
Veterinary Services
Web Design
Medical / Health & Social Care – we are well supported by providers of adult residential care, but other health related placements are hard to find.

If you think you would be able to help, or know someone who could help, please do share this information. If it helps describe the "ask" of a placement provider, please do feel free to share this Employer Agreement Form. The pupils arrive with a reflective diary to complete; there are opportunities for the pupil to receive feedback from the employer/supervisor during the week and a teacher will either visit or telephone the placement mid-week to check how the pupil is doing.
